When you submit any personal particulars on our website, contact us, or participate in our research studies (including our panels and focus group discussions, and online, face-to-face (in-person or via video conferencing) or telephone surveys) (hereinafter referred to as “Services”), you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with our privacy policy.
We collect and store the following types of personal data:
- Personal particulars such as name, contact number, address, email and personal interests;
- Gender, age, ethnicity, religion and other relevant demographic data; and
- Navigational data through the use of Cookies, including your IP address, pages visited, browser details.

Personal data is separately held for verification or checking purposes. We ensure conformation to research quality standards, which includes:
- Designing research in a way such that the further processing of the data does not risk causing harm to data subjects;
- Conducting user-testing during the questionnaire development stage to minimise risk of errors in data collection;
- Establishing legitimate interest by informing prospective data subjects of the purpose(s) to which their data will be put, and any potential consequences such as a follow up contact for quality purposes;
- Receiving expressed or implied consent from data subjects for data collection prior to data collection during fieldwork;
- Processing data in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organisational measures; and
- Practicing pseudonymisation, where applicable, during our data collection process by using a unique identifier in the form of a PIN or equivalent.
5. Your rights regarding your personal information
We respect the right to privacy and choice of our data subjects, by providing varied contact options to opt-out of any market research projects for which they may have been identified as a prospective respondent for. Otherwise, by not actively choosing to opt-out, you consent to being contacted as a prospective respondent for that particular project.
6. Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated on this page to reflect changes in law, best practice or a change in our practices regarding the treatment of personal information. The last effective date will be available at the top of this page. As of the effective date of the revised privacy policy, you will be considered as having consented to all changes to our Privacy Policy.
