You will be involved in problem identification, conceptualisation, research design, hypothesis formulation, questionnaire design, sampling design, statistical analysis, report writing and presentation. Additionally, you must exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) in order to effectively interact with research subjects and clients. An interest and knowledge in web-interface and some programming would be highly beneficial.
Candidates must have a Merit or Honours degree, with strong statistics foundation and distinction in GCE ‘O’ English or GCE ‘A’ General Paper. Those who have done sociology, psychology or marketing research courses will have a definite advantage. A good knowledge of SPSS (Windows) is a compulsory requirement.
